OCT – Optical Coherence Technology is a non-invasive imaging test that uses light waves in order to take a cross section of your retina, in particular the optic nerve and macula. This aids in the early detection and monitoring of ocular disease including Glaucoma, Diabetic retinopathy and any Macular disease such as Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD). OCT Testing is available at our Pendergardens outlet as is done on recommendation of your eye care professional or at your request.  

Retinal Photography – This captures a detailed digital image of your retina allowing our eye care professionals to look at the general health of your inner eye whilst screening for a range of conditions such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Glaucoma & any Macular disease amongst other conditions. These images allow us to compare any changes to the health of your eyes periodically. Our 3 clinics at Pendergardens, Rabat and Sliema offer retinal photography.

Visual Fields –  A visual field exam tests your ability to see in the periphery of your vision. This is routinely used in the detection and monitoring of Glaucoma. Visual field testing is available at our Pendergardens outlet.
