Eye Health - Retinal Photography

Retinal Photography is a sophisticated process that uses a digital camera to take a picture of the back of your eye and helps to monitor the health of your eyes.

Retinal Photography is carried out by our optometrist for patients who require monitoring the progression of a disease, diagnosis of a disease (combined with retinal angiography), or in screening programs, where the photos can be analyzed later.

People with diabetes can be screened for early signs of diabetic retinopathy - a major cause of visual impairment.  Early detection using retinal photography greatly improves the success rate of treatment.
